In short
HydroNote helps you check data against the limits you set. Your organisation remains responsible for regulatory compliance, notifications to regulators, and public health decisions.
What HydroNote does
HydroNote records data, compares values with limits entered by your organisation, flags values outside those limits, and produces summaries.
What HydroNote does not do
- It does not decide whether water is safe to supply.
- It does not notify regulators or health authorities on your behalf.
- It does not guarantee that limits entered are correct or current.
Limits and guidelines
Limits must be entered and checked by your organisation against the current official documents (for example the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines, state regulations, your Drinking Water Quality Management Plan or EPA licence). Any demo values provided are examples only.
Data quality
Results depend on the accuracy of the data entered or imported, including SCADA and laboratory files.
Emergencies
Always follow your organisation's incident and emergency procedures. Do not rely on HydroNote alerts as your only warning system.
