In short
Your organisation owns its data. HydroNote looks after it on your behalf, uses it only to provide the service, and lets you export it at any time.
Ownership
All operational data, readings, limits, comments and records you enter or import remain the property of the Customer.
Our role
HydroNote acts as custodian and processor. We process Customer Data only to provide, secure and support the service, or as required by law.
Location
Customer Data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database placed in Cloudflare's Oceania region.
No secondary use
We do not sell Customer Data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train artificial intelligence models. We may use anonymous usage statistics (for example number of log sheets) to improve the service.
Access by HydroNote staff
HydroNote staff access Customer Data only when needed to provide support you request, investigate a problem, or as required by law.

Breach notification
We will notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a security incident affecting your data.
Export and deletion
You can export your data to Excel at any time. When your subscription ends we keep your data for 30 days for export, then delete it.
